If downloading in order to do a virus scan of the e-mailed file, then download it first to a floppy diskette and then scan the file. If infected, either clean or dispose by formatting the floppy. |

Hi,

Not all payloads have to be executed in order to infect the target system. Bobby |

and if the DEP in Windows XP sp2 is active /it is active by default.
