Default Expiration

Does the x64 trial expire? If so what do you have to do at that time. I got
a notidication that my computer will shut down in 1 hour while on x64.

Certainly. That's why it's called a "Trial" license. I believe the
standard evaluation period is 120 days.

Either perform a repair installation (a.k.a., an in-place upgrade) with
a full license of WinXPx64, or format the partition or hard drive and
install another OS.

There should have been earlier warnings, as well, as the days counted down.
