Cannot get XP to load to Emachine Etower 500is
I cannot get XP to load. I keep getting some stop error and the action on
the microsoft web site are not fixing the problem. Has anyone else had similar issues on an emachine.

What type of Windows XP?
Retail, OEM? Did Windows XP come with the computer? If so, contact EMachines support. Windows XP home edition Upgrade edition with Service Pack 2 - Retail Version

Check the website I gave for the stop error.
Are there any pre-existing problems? All problems, known and unknown should be resolved prior to upgrading.
