found a way of exit'ng the icon by the clock...
x the window... then bring-up your taskbar... (mightn't be a required step) right click on the icon in bar... <exit> how's that for preventitive maintainence? |

Just go to to Messenger's Tools, Options, and Preferences tab and turn it off from starting when you boot Windows. |
