Desktop Items stored in RAM?
A friend of mine believes that all the files you have on your desktop e.g.
videos, are stored in RAM and affect performance. Surely its just a a pointer stored in RAM to the file on the hard drive and not the whole file stored there indefinately. Can anyone clarify?
