Default undefraged files

I just defraged my C drive and have two files undefraged that are over 2 gigs
each. they seem to be lost files created when I did a hard close while I had
Photoshop Elements open.

File names are \documents and settings\Allen\local settings\temp\photoshop
temp87988 and 712754

I can not locate them on my drive to see what they are and don't know how to
find them or delete them.

Can you help.

Default RE: undefraged files

Local Settings folder is hidden folder. Change folder view options to show
folder ie uncheck hide.
folder option is under 'tools'

Go to Start, Control Panel, Folder Options,
View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden
files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files
" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You
should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known
file types" is not checked. Next in Windows Explorer make sure View,
Details is selected and then select View, Choose Details and check
before Name, Type, Total Size, and Free Space.

How large is your C drive and how much free space? Do you have other
hard drives or partitions? Is your C drive formatted as FAT32 or NTFS?
In Windows Explorer right click on your C drive, select Properties and
post the details?

Hope this helps.
