when i want to give graphics files to my artist, i put them on a cd. go
through the whole process - drag files to the cd/dvd drive icon then "write these files to cd". when I'm done the temp files remain in the cd drive and when i go to delete them it says that another program or person is trying to use them so i can't delete. also, now I am trying to click on the drive and i'm getting an explorer error message. it's worth noting that I recently wrote a very large number of files and data to a cd. this is really frustrating. i've always had some sort of problem with this wizard. so now I can't even create a new cd. thanks |

To delete files and folders from the CD recorder temporary storage area:
1. Double-click My Computer, and then double-click the CD recording drive. 2. Under CD Writing Tasks, click Delete temporary files. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows - Shell/User Microsoft Community Newsgroups news://msnews.microsoft.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "ken" wrote: | when i want to give graphics files to my artist, i put them on a cd. go | through the whole process - drag files to the cd/dvd drive icon then "write | these files to cd". | | when I'm done the temp files remain in the cd drive and when i go to delete | them it says that another program or person is trying to use them so i can't | delete. | | also, now I am trying to click on the drive and i'm getting an explorer | error message. | | it's worth noting that I recently wrote a very large number of files and | data to a cd. this is really frustrating. i've always had some sort of | problem with this wizard. | | so now I can't even create a new cd. | | thanks |
