Default LapTop will not go into STANDBY or HIBERNATE Microsoft XP 2002

Can't go into Standy or Hibernate...error is Standard 101/102-Key or
Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard. reinstall driver??? How??

Go to control panel, system, hardware, device manager, righ click keyboard
and uninstall driver. Restart computer
