How do I backup Windows XP registry before manually editing it?

Default How do I backup Windows XP registry before manually editing it?

Hi

Does anyone know how to backup the entire Windows XP Home Edition's registry
before manually editing the registry with Windows XP's regedit?

Please help.

Use erunt

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/erunt.html

or manually export each key beofre changing it. There is no built in utility
or method of backing up the whole registry.
