When I boot up I'm told there are files missing. Up to 20 files are randomly
missing. Some are always missing( as gcasserv.exe,dumprep,rundll31.exe) and usually about 10 more are randomly missing. I'm using windows XP and several virus checks have come clean. uggestions? |

hi,
If its only a recent problem try using the 'system restore' feature in windows xp, and restore the computer back to before the problem started. There are usualy 3 main causes of files missing. Viruses, spyware or an unstabble system. If the system restore fixes your problem runa complete scan disk and disk defrag on your computer. Banshee_V |
