After I downloaded and installed Microsoft.Net Framework 2.0 from Windows
update site, I ran Norton System Works 2003 One Button Checkup to scan my
computer. In the Program Integrity Scan, NSW found 10 problems and I chose
auto repair to fix them. Those problems could not be fixed by NSW so I chose
to ignore them.

I then ran Win Doctor and showed the details of the error messages as below:

inaccessible or cannot not be found. This may cause the program to run
improperly or not at all.

hi,

Not knowing to much about the new .NET2.0 update, but looks liek your not th
eonly 1 complaining of that problem. You can download the file missing file
from

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl....shtml?msvcr80

I'm only guessing that it will need to go to the c:\windows\system32 folder.
Or into each of the directories that are complaining of the missing file.

I have fixed the problem by copied the msvcr80.dll from my computer:

C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a 1e18e3b_8.0.50727.42_x-ww_0de06acd\msvcr80.dll File Version 8.0.50727.42

and pasted to C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder

I ran NSW2003 One Button Checkup again and the problems were gone.

Anyway, thank you for your helps.

I had same problem and is what causing other problems (slow down computer,
etc). Best fix was to uninstall it which put everything back in shape. I
wouldn't download v/2 again.
