My son downloaded a program and of course it had spywarre. I have gotten rid
of most of the the syware, except the popups.everytime I log into internet
explorer, I get a ton of popups. Now, for some reason, I lost my device
manager and my network connections. I can still connect to the internet but I
do not and cannot find my Network connections. I do have Bluetooth and that
Network connection is still there, My Device manager is blank and no network
connections?? I ran Beta One live Care and it found 3 spyware. I run Adware,
Spybot, Microsoft, and have winpatrol. Everything is normal except....HELP

I had a Hotbar which i removed with the symantec Hotbar remover., and the
spyware Apropos.C It had a Virus that the Beta One took out but I can not
remember the name. I have ran all the spyware programs and everything comes
up clean now.As i still get popups. The group is called DXMILTER. I have
found it in my registry and allways inmy cookies, just keeps comming back. I
have a Dual Boot with 2003 server and run Virtual PC and both are not
infected. It has been a week since I have been battling with this issue.
Should I reformat and reinstall, or is it worth buying Spysweeper? Fry's
Electronics has WebRoot Spy sweeper for $22 with a $22 mail in rebate. Thanks
