I removed EventSystemservice too, but when I did I got another service problem (one that needed EventSystem), so I restored it. I only get the EventSystem error now in the System registry. I tried to 're-update' again, but it went the same way. Everything gets slow while searching for devices during the installation. |

Yes a reinstall may be the best approach. You can't remove 'COM+ Event
