I'm trying to install a program on my mom's computer. The first window shows
up fine, but the next window to accept the license does not fit in the window. The text does not wrap and disappears off the screen. The buttons to accept or decline the license do not appear, so I cannot go any further with the install. The window cannot be resized. My mother tells me that this problem shows up frequently on different programs that she is using. I appreciate any suggestions. |

Here are some things to check for (all having to do with the video
settings): 1. Is she using the native resolution for her LCD monitor / an appropriate resolution for her CRT monitor? 2. Is she using an appropriate DPI measurement for her monitor? 3. Has she used any of the accessibility options (All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility)? 4. Has she been trying some of the software that came with her video card? And the resolution: 1. Use the native / an approriate resolution. 2. Use a correct DPI measurement. 3. Reset the 'theme' to Windows XP. 4. Reset to default. -- Ted Zieglar "You can do it if you try." You should be able to use the Tab key to get to the accept button. -- D I'm not an MVP a VIP nor do I have ESP. I was just trying to help.
