Installing Security updates for Windows XP fail
why is it when I run Windows update I get failed for many of the security
updates, for instance, today I updated a Windows XP box and the following security updates failed: Security Update for Windows XP (KB885836) Security Update for Windows XP (KB890046) Security Update for Windows XP (KB901214) Security Update for Windows XP (KB890859) Security Update for Windows XP (KB896358) Security Update for Windows XP (KB893756) Security Update for Windows XP (KB899591) Security Update for Windows XP (KB896423) Update for Windows XP (KB894391) Security Update for Windows XP (KB902400) Security Update for Windows XP (KB899589) Security Update for Windows XP (KB904706) Security Update for Windows XP (KB900725) Security Update for Windows XP (KB896424 Why would this happen as other updates during the same procedure were fine.
