After a power outage, when I restarted my computer, all file associations
where messed up. Files like .exe .com .lnk (which is a standard shortcut file for windows) will not open! Therefore I cannot run any of the necessary programs to try and repair my computer. The only files that do work are My Computer, browsing folders, and Microsoft Office documents. My computer is running a Compaq presario with 608 RAM and Windows Home Edition. Does anyone know how I could fix the files to open? Thank You in advance.. |
