Help. I was trying to get rid of Spy Axe when I decided to reboot.
(different computer than the one I'm using now ) When my computer came back up it looked as if XP loaded then it went to my blue Compaque screen..then that was it. No icons, no taskbar, not start button, nothing. I rebooted and tried to go in safe mode. All I got was a black screen with "safe mode" written in all four corners. I rebooted several times and tried every option with same result. I am not a computer person so I am not sure what to do. did some looking around on the web and nothing I found tells me what to do. Some say that I should open this or that....but how do I do that when nothing responds and there are no icons. ctr, alt, delete does nothing either. Hope someome can help me. Thanks! |

Thanks Dixonian69, but when I choose the option safe mode with command prompt
all I get is a black screen with "safe mode" written in all four corners. There is no command prompt....nothing happens. Do I need to use my XP disc?
