Default CCAPP.exe - failiure to shut down machine!

I have automatic up-dates switched to automatic and a recent download causes
my computer to fail / freeze during shut down. An error message "CCAPP.exe
not responding" comes up.

If I do a restore from a previous date the problem goes away.

I let automatic up-dates do its stuff again today and the problem is
straight back again.

Any ideas??

Yes, turn off autonatic updates and install the updates one at a time until
you find which one is causing this to happen and then just don't install
that one.
