Rob,

Sounds very similar to my problem.. I too have plenty of memory and drive
space left.. I notice when viewing task manager at startup that it loads all
of the processes sequentially.. so the more programs you have on your system
the longer it will take... cant seem to remove any of them from the start-up
menu without uninstalling the program...

Gerry... Following was the only yellow tag message on event viewer..

TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent
TCP connect attempts.

Steve

I seem to have confused you.

I asked you to look in Device Manager for one type of Error message and in
Event Viewer for other Warning / Error Reports. Please refer to my earlier
message. You seem to have posted part of an Error Report from one of the
Event Viewer logs. Incomplete reports are not very helpful.

Steve

Have you tried identifying the process?

Do you run Emule, BitTorrent or Kazaa?
