Hey Jake,
Try this: 1>Search for the file msmsgs.exe on your computer. There could be multiple copies of it so dont stop the search before it is complete. It should only be present under program files\messenger and the file size should be 1.6MB. You may find another search result under prefetch, you can ignore that. Apart from this if you find anything else then follow step 2.(My guess -> step2 will need to be followed) 2>Download this antivirus software listed below, install and do a full system scan. This not to say the ones that you already have are bad but every software has its own way of functioning. The time for which i have used this software it has given me no problems what so ever and cleans out all known as well as unknown viruses(for an eg it cleaned out the supposedly invisible version of subseven so i consider it to be able to do so). Antivir: www.free-av.com Hope this helps yogi "Jake Norman" wrote: > Hi Yogi, > > I checked both of the entries in the Registry but there is no Windows > Messenger listed.I have already disabled the entry from Outlook Express.
