Help -- I am not able to see most of my program files under PROGRAMS in the
start menu. I can't even see System Tools to try to figure this out. I am a novice, but would appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks -- bob |

Your profile (by name)\Start Menu All Users\Start Menu Everything that creates a start menu item will put their shortcut in one of those. If you deleted them... Well - you either reinstall or create the shortcuts manually. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html > > Thanks > -- > bob |

If that's the case, you may have enabled personalized menus. Click on the double arrows to expand the listing. If you want to change this behavior, do the following: Right click an open spot on your Taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Select Properties from the menu. Note: You can also go into Control Panel to launch Taskbar and Start Menu Properties. In Taskbar and Start Menu Properties, click on the Start Menu tab. Click on the Customize button. Customize Classic Start Menu should now be displayed. In the "Advanced Start Menu options" box, scroll down to the bottom and look for an entry titled "Use Personalized Menus". Remove the check mark in the box next to this entry. Click OK twice. Good luck Nepatsfan |
