I received an email attachment in .csv that opened up in notepad. I want to
open it in Excel so I can sort it the way I want it. How do I change it so I can open in Excel? I hate notepad!!! This is a leads list for my home based cash generating system that I ordered. The company will not resend it to me in Excel. I have received leads lists from other companies that were sent in Excel. I much prefer them as they are much easier to read, use, etc. -- Computer challenged |

Hi
Save the attachment to your hard disk/partition, then right click on it and select Open With>Choose Program... Then, scroll down the list 'til you find Excel, highlight it and make sure that 'Always use the selected program...' is checked, then OK it. -- Will Denny MS MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "computechallenged" <computechallenged@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:609EF10B-3A89-47E0-9123-1A48152241BF@microsoft.com... >I received an email attachment in .csv that opened up in notepad.
