No thank you. It's an software issue. I have had the same on my
first laptop years back. I often asked MVP's about that depicting the symptoms. It seems to be so seldom or I might be the only one ever have downloaded this that I'm used to. It is also not the hard drive. One is about 1 year old and the other one even never. They both do run gentle and quiet as soon as you are back to the keyboard or moving the mouse and even before the idle as well. I'm sorry I haven't read as carefully as I have should to and mistaken the Google toolbar and the Google desktop. This one is a pretty bad one for sure cause its not appearing in any list or log as an extra process. Not the Google applications but the one I got. Thank you! Steve This text I've sent yesterday and it seems not to have got to the newsgroups server. Meanwile I have come up against an entry in the registry saying: "C:\Windows\system32\L3CODECA.ACM REG_DWORD 0x80000000 (2147483648)". What is that long number in the brakets stating or doing? This entry is releted to the file I have deleted and does looking strange and suspicious to me. |
