Photo Story 3 error message

Hi everyone,
When I have gone through all the different stages of installing my photo
story and get to the save your story page, and click next, it all gets loaded
ok. I then click on view your story, and up pop's a error message ( A device
attached to the system is not functioning ) The only way I can access it, is
by clicking on edit.I did try to narrate with a Mic and that failed? but I
have clean'd out, uninstalled, reinstalled, I still got the problem. I would
be glad of some help with this problem, Thanks. ( using XP Home )
