I get this message too! But I feature out that it only happens when I try to
sync 2 WinXP SP2 Home machines. XP pro Sp2 & XP home Sp2 works and two Xp pro
Sp2 machines also work.
Any solutions or suggestions what might be wrong or missing?

Hello!

I get this message, too. In my case, it only occurs when I try to echo a
subfolder of My Favorites from the left to the right . The left is a XP SP2
Pro and the right are either a XP SP2 Pro or a Samba server. SyncToy analyzed
several .url files in the folder, then the message box appears. Once the
message box appeared, SyncToy cannot stop normally. I have to terminate it
from Task Manager.
