Hi all,
Many thanks for your messages and ideas I've completed a Disk Cleanup, Error Checking, Defrag etc put to no luck - it's still saying the same error message. I've also tried opening the print wizard through the fax viewer but again no luck - same error message We have also since found that it is affecting all the PC's with the same image as this one which we ghosted around to some 30 - 40 PC's. So we're hoping it's a fairly easy fix but it's not looking too promising. Any other ideas/comments would be gratefully recieved Thanks for all your help Chris "smframe" wrote: > I have found the Fax-viewer Connects to the WIZARD in a better way..OPEN your > Picture into the Fax-viewer..Click the Little Printer-button..the WIZARD > should take you the rest of the way. > > "John Inzer" wrote: > > > Chris wrote: > > > Hi all, > > > > > > Wondered if you could help with the following: > > > > > > We've just re-imaged a number of pc's using windows XP > > > Pro but have found a minor problem being that when users > > > use the XP photo printing wizard it allows them to select > > > the photos, choose a printer, choose the size etc. But > > > when they click next for the final time, when the photos > > > get sent to the printer, an error message is displayed as > > > shown below: > > > > > > Photo Printing Wizard Error > > > The following error occurred while the wizard was > > > attempting to print your pictures > > > An internal error occurred > > > > > > Then there's an ok button which upon clicking closes the > > > wizard. Do you have more than one printer connected? Maybe uninstalling all but one would be a start. Are the printer drivers the most recent available from the manufacturer? -- John Inzer MS Picture It! The next thing to check is "what about FAXING"..how is FAXING useing your
PC..is there some conversion to the Image(??)..just for the MODEM or FAX portion of the Print software..I have just added the FAX-contents to my Printer Software and at the start I have found it Not so reliable..I expect maybe Updates are Needed..don't really know..or if your Image is not Running inside of a Program maybe you need to try a differant software..if this Image(you describe)some 30-40 Machines..is a Desktop Image..try Bitmap.
