Default Jerky unsteady images

I've been working on a Photo Story 3 slideshow and early on, the transitions
between photos was smooth and elegant. Now that I'm up to 300 photos with
music and a few titles and special effects, suddenly the photo transitions
are all jerky and often the previous photo is seen as a shadow in the current
photo. Is this just the poor quality of the preview setting? Will the
quality improve when I burn it to DVD?
(I'm getting a DVD-burner installed today!)

Thanks.

Looks like you are maxing out your computers memory by loading so many photos
at one time. You can try reducing the size of the photos. It should not
affect writing to DVD provided it can accomodate all of the photos.

I do not know how many photos this prog was designed to take, but my guess
is that 300 is WAY too many!
Have you tried MovieMaker? It takes stills too?
