I have 2 choices, auto or set the duration per image.
Question, I want to set the duration the same for all images ie. 10 sec. How do i set the same duration for all the images without haveing to set the same duration separately for each image? Thanks Richard |

There's a utility called TweakPS that can do a global change to the
durations in a saved project. There's a link on the Photo Story 3 > Setup page of my site. -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org MM2 Tips and Tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "Richard Cooper" <Richard Cooper@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:18B7A6B4-A612-4ED6-8835-661C093DA961@microsoft.com... >I have 2 choices, auto or set the duration per image. > Question, I want to set the duration the same for all images ie. 10 sec. > How > do i set the same duration for all the images without haveing to set the > same > duration separately for each image? > Thanks > Richard |

Hello John... nice to see you :-)
Let me ask a question about this utility, what does it do to audio? Or do we need to do the video separately, then import the new video file and then add audio? Hope all is well with you guys! Hi Kep,
I just tested it on a story with about 20 pix, some narrated and computer generated background music... I cut the durations to 4 seconds, less than the narrations. It reduced the durations but didn't go to any less than the narrations.... and the background music adapted... so it worked fine... As a precaution, it first saves the story project to a backup file, so you can undo it if needed. Great to '''' see you '''' too. I'll be in your area this weekend when I present Movie Maker and Photo Story at the Microsoft Windows Gallery in San Francisco (sorry it's not a bit closer for you)... -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org MM2 Tips and Tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "Carol" <keppy@msn.com> wrote in message news:%237Xz3Mu6FHA.2600@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > Hello John... nice to see you :-) > Let me ask a question about this utility, what does it do to audio? The .net framework runs in the background... nothing to do on your part but
to let it be installed You would need to ask Mark on his forum, where you got the download from. -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org MM2 Tips and Tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "Richard Cooper" <RichardCooper@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0B39F857-E8D0-403D-8B95-35DA173EE948@microsoft.com... > > > "PapaJohn (MVP)" wrote: > >> There's a utility called TweakPS that can do a global change to the >> durations in a saved project. My new laptop came with 1.0 and 1.1 installed.... and Mark's utility works
fine on it. I'd think that 1.1 would be enough.... -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org MM2 Tips and Tricks: http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx "Richard Cooper" <RichardCooper@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0DCEA606-54B7-4BCE-8BA6-77C82F1B687C@microsoft.com... > OK, but which one? > > > Quick Links > .NET Framework 2.0 > .NET Framework 1.1 > .NET Framework 1.0 > .NET Compact Framework 1.0 > Shared Source CLI Downloads > Other .NET Framework Related Downloads > Thanks > Richard > > "PapaJohn (MVP)" wrote: > >> The .net framework runs in the background... nothing to do on your part >> but >> to let it be installed >> >> You would need to ask Mark on his forum, where you got the download from. >> -- >> PapaJohn >> >> Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org >> MM2 Tips and Tricks: >> http://www.simplydv.co.uk/simplyBB/viewtopic.php?t=4693 >> Online Newsletters: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/PapaJohn/Index.aspx >> >> >> >> "Richard Cooper" <RichardCooper@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in >> message >> news:0B39F857-E8D0-403D-8B95-35DA173EE948@microsoft.com... >> > >> > >> > "PapaJohn (MVP)" wrote: >> > >> >> There's a utility called TweakPS that can do a global change to the >> >> durations in a saved project. I think I accidentally hit reply instead of Reply to Group...
1.1 is required for TweakPS, and 2.0 should work fine. I run both. |
