I'm trying to find out if Synctoy is the right app for me. I have 2 laptops,
1 at work and 1 at home. They are usually never together. I want to find an application that will let me synchronize my C:\Data directory. This is a several GB directory with many types of files including my Outlook .PST file. I don't mind manually running the sync feature before I leave work or when I arrive, but I'm just trying to figure out if it can be used to synchronize the files between 2 separate computers using an external USB drive (60GB). The specifics are 2 computers running Windows XP Professional both with NTFS drives, synching with a 60GB external USB drive (FAT32). I've been looking for a good program for a while but haven't tried anything yet. If someone can tell me if this program will work in the manner that I need, of if you know of a better app for me. Thanks. |

Thanks for the reply, but does this mean that synctoy isn't the right app for
my application? Any hints as to what I should be looking for specifically on ftpgear in a week or so? "cetnamys" wrote: > Look on ftpgear.com in a week or so > > > |
