Hello all!
I'm thinking of purchasing a budget film scanner to scan my old 35mm negatives. Two current UK magazines recommend both PlusTek and Konica Minolta Dual IV scanners. I'm using Windows XP x64, and neither of the manufacturers web-sites mentioned x64 at all. I e-mailed both lots of support people about two weeks ago asking whether their scanners would work with Windows XP x64 - PlusTek didn't reply at all and Konica Minolta replied to say they hadn't tried it so couldn't say. Very poor! So, does anyone know whether either of these would work, or does anyone have any other recommendations? I'm not averse to the idea of getting a secondhand one from Ebay as long as it's going to work! Andrew Virnuls |

I bought a 35mm scanner there about 5 years ago, and they seemed to be keen and with it. |

Nothing available now that will work on x64. This is the basic problem with
x64, few drivers available for hardware on any kind.
