when trying to copy picture group to cd, the computer says that a "thumbs.db"
is preventing it...what is this and how do I get rid of it so I can put my pics on a cd? |

thumbs.db is a hidden file in each photo file folder.
To see it and delete it you need to set your XP folder viewing preferences to "Show hidden files". To do this, click on Tools and Folder options. Then scroll down to find this option to show hidden files. No problem in deleting thumbs.db files. Windows will create them back again as needed. However, when you attempt this Copy to CD you probably get a message about it. Just ignore this and the copying should continue without you having to delete the thumbs.db file from the folder.
