This is a bit like the question of the gentleman below, but slightly
different so I began its own title. I recently added the GIMP photo editing software and pressed associate files when it asked, thinking that it meant when I wanted to use the program with those files, but now, everytime I try to view a photo or use any other graphic in a seperate program, it assumes I mean to edit the photo in GIMP. Is there anyway to reassociate photo files back to the Windows Photo and Fax Viewer? I really like viewing through there, and I certainly don't want to edit everything I view. Any help would be appreciated. jdpeterman |

Not a big problem.
Right click on one of your photo. Click on Open with on the opening menu. Click on Choose program at the bottom of the opening menu. A list will open, select Windows Photo and Fax viewer and then click the box "Always.... Thanks, Yves. That was easier than I'd thought. If only we knew everything
ourselves, but, alas, I don't. Thanks again. jdpeterman "jdpeterman" wrote: > This is a bit like the question of the gentleman below, but slightly > different so I began its own title. > > I recently added the GIMP photo editing software and pressed associate files > when it asked, thinking that it meant when I wanted to use the program with > those files, but now, everytime I try to view a photo or use any other > graphic in a seperate program, it assumes I mean to edit the photo in GIMP. > Is there anyway to reassociate photo files back to the Windows Photo and Fax > Viewer? > > I really like viewing through there, and I certainly don't want to edit > everything I view. > > Any help would be appreciated. > > jdpeterman |
