Default lost photos

hi
hope sum1 can help
ive jusr sent my holiday photos via email to my friend and now i cant view
them as it is saying that windows cant read the file and that it is
damaged,hope can i find them and restore my photos back?

That can be a real bummer.

A good rule is never less than two digital copies of anything important.

Are these files from a digital camera?
Try downloading them from the camera
again.

What is the exact error message?

thanks for your reply

i sent it as an attatchment and it wasnt sent as my friend never recieved
it.it was sent via the "email this file" under file and folder tasks in my
pictures.
when you go on to my pictures then click on the file with your pics in
it,the file name is there but when you click to view it it says "the file is
damaged or an unsupported format".
is jpg^^file any thing to do with this problem and if so how do i try and
save my pics?

Sorry, but based on the info you have provided
I have no idea what the problem is.

Have the file names changed? Are all of your
images corrupted or just the ones in this particular
folder?

Have you tried running a full system virus scan
using the most recent definitions?

Can you post the *exact* steps you took when
e-mailing the images? And just to verify...
could you view the images just before sending
the e-mail?

How many images were you attempting to attach
to the message? Do you know the memory size
of the group?

You can try Active@ undelete utility to restore these files. the soft
posses the most powerful recovery algorithm so that is seemingly last
chance to bring info back to life.
