Gentlemen, sorry that no expert has felt qualify to answer this real
question, but please excuse my persistence. I just successfully installed the WinColorSetup applet. in two computers, one of them brand new. Yet, when attempt execution, nothing happened in either. Not sure why. I was suggested to look in: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...e_counter.mspx After reading the info I check in three computers with XP (2 Pro, 1 Home). None of then have the DisablePerformanceCounters item mentioned at the Registry Key location specified by the article: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\PerfProc\Performance. Should it be created? or perhaps something must be activated that will create such key, as well as others relevant ones? This being a power toy, there is no help from MS. Please kindly advice.
