Hello. My project is to make a 'this is your life' kind of presentation for
my family using pictures and maybe background music, that hopefully they can play on any DVD player. and hopefully, any pc too. both if possible. I have photo story 3 but it can only play on pc's (as fas as I know) I also have corel presentations 10 (via word perfect office 10) but dont know if that is the right program since I have not been able to make it work. Does any know of a program that is easy to use and free. 1-Am I able to copy these storys I make on the pc to a CD or a DVD disks so that they can play it on any pc''s or any standard dvd player? most of the people would have a pc at least 3 years old or newer. ?? please help if you can. THanks much!! windows XP home edition sp2 |

As I understand it, PhotoStory 3.0, which is available as a free
download does not allow burning to video CD. PhotoStory 3.1 which is bundled with Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006, does allow burning your photo stories to a video cd, which should play in those DVD and PC which support video cds. - jose |

Yeap, PhotoStory 3.1 is available with Digital Image Suite 2006. There
is a free trial, but I believe the CD burning is turned off during the trial mode. http://www.microsoft.com/products/im...s.aspx?pid=003 |

Yup, I have the trial package and the save to disc feature isn't there.

I was told it was excluded from the Starter edition because of licensing issues. -- John Inzer MS Picture It! MVP How to ask a newsgroup question: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 |
