Default Sizing pics

Just started with new digital camera. When viewing the pics from the camera,
the thumbnails look fine. However when I save them on the hardrive they are
huge as if they have zoomed in. I can zoom out on each individually
afterwards, but thats a pain. How can I save them so they are at the optimal
size?

What program are you using to view the images?
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (for example)
should display the full sized image.

I would not suggest resizing just for viewing purposes.
This could cause you to lose resolution that would
affect the quality of your prints.

Try TweakUI PowerToy

It may be what you are after if the images are being viwed in Windows
Explorer.

On the other hand ther may be a tweak within the program that
accompanies your digital camera.

In either case TweakUi is pretty good anyway
