I must say that I'm disappointed with the quality of Photo Story 3 DVDs,
even when PapaJohn's 720x480 profile is used. The smoothness and sharpness of the DVD is nowhere near as good as that produced by video card scrolling and zooming when played back directly on my MCE 2005 "Slide Show". So far, the best DVD slide shows I can make are done by using a DVD recorder on the MCE Slide Show output, and Photo Story 3 direct to DVD is a poor second. We need some much better rendering/encoding... -michael Home page: http://members.aol.com/MJMahon/ "The wastebasket is our most important design tool--and it is seriously underused." |
