I have Photostory on my PC and recommended it to a friend. She tried to
download it and reported this (Quote) "John - I am having real problems downloading the Photostory package - the message keeps coming up the installer could not open this package so something like that - any ideas?" I tried to re-install and took the "Repair" option and had a message box saying: "Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from file C:\Documents and Settings\ John\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\ZQC77LCT\PStory.msi" If I browse the PC I find one with a similar name but with a slightly different number. http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...46b/PStory.msi Any ideas for both of us? -- -- John |

Trying to install directly from the net is not a good idea. Maybe deleting all of your temp and temporary internet files would help. I believe PhotoStory will only work on WinXP with Service Pack 2 installed.
Wasn't it a kind of reward for those people who upgraded? Quilly, Have a look at the new Anti-Spyware program CounterSpy I recommend it, it worked for me at, http://quilljar.users.btopenworld.com/ |
