auto-rotated pictures (vertical) only accessible under 1 user account

Google Groups showed me a post from back in May with this subject and I'm
having the same problem.

I opened a ticket with Canon technical support and they are researching it
as a possible Zoombrowser bug. Basically, if your camera is set to save
EXIF data for rotated pictures, AND you have Zoombrowser configured to
rotate the picture before saving the JPEG, you can't view those rotated
pictures
from any other user accounts on that computer. Also, you can't view or copy
those files at all from another computer on your network.

I did find a workaround (using windows XP):
1) Download your pictures as usual, into "folder x".
2) In Windows Explorer, Copy and Paste the Folder into the same subdirectory
(so you'll have "folder x" and "Copy of folder x").
3) Delete the original "folder x"
4) Edit the new folder name, and delete the "Copy of " from the beginning.

The files in the new folder will still contain all the appropriate EXIF tag
data, and now the rotated files will be visible from other user accounts as
well as other computers on your network.

I downloaded a free EXIF reader program and compared two sample files from
the original and copied folders (folder x and "copy of folder x"), and the
EXIF tags appear to be identical. But if you're paranoid like me, instead
of deleting the original, you'll tuck them away somewhere for safekeeping...

It's possible that they do something like this:
* create temp copy of pic in user's temp directory
* move to final folder

This might result in it picking up unexpected file permissions if your disk
is of type NTFS.
