Default FastStone problem on printing?

In FastStone Image Viewer 2.29, I tried to print the image after fixing
the size 2"X 2" and the the resultant printout is only 2"X1.5" why it
should be like this please?
<support@faststone.org> does not respond.
Any comment please?
Thanking you in advance.

Is the source image square? I would expect the print to maintain aspect ratio
-- perhaps you could try cropping the image first (if it isn't square
already)?

Is there any way one could crop a perfect square while selection ----say
Irfanview shows the size in the status bar after the crop----and with
FastStone I do not know how to draw a prefect square even though the
croping area is directly visible -----width aand height is of never the
same size. I may be doing wrong---please comment on this.

You can manually select the 'size' of the crop by draggiung the handles on
the cop outline box.

==================================
You can add any size you like to the
crop tool in FastStone.

With your image selected in Fast Stone...
go to...Edit / Crop Board.

Click the "Define Paper Ratios" button.
(it's just to the right of the Paper Ratio
drop window)

Click the "Add" button and enter any
size you require.

Open the "Paper Ratio" drop window
and select your new size.

Now...crop the image.
