Batch processing: adding short text to 2000+ jpg's

I (just once) need to ad a short sentence of text to over 2000 jpg photo's.
I wonder if there is a freeware prog that allows me to do that?

The text consists og one certain sentence that should be added to every
photo in one of the corners. I should also be able to choose a font/size.
