When setting up a scheduled task, it assumes you want to use the currently
logged on users credentials. This is fine, until, as is sensible practise, you change your password. this breaks the task. I've tried using the NTAUTHORITY\SYSTEM account, and even created a dedicated "service" account, but the tasks fail with the following error Event Source: SyncToy Event Category: None Event ID: 2 Date: 02/01/2006 Time: 16:30:24 User: N/A Computer: xxxxxxx Description: No folder pair named 'my folder' is defined. SyncToy is stopping. Am I missing something, or will Synctoy only work with the current logged on user? |
