I'm having trouble opening pictures (jpg's) using my Windows Explorer. One of
two things happens. The first problem is that I tried to open some pictures from a CD that contains a couple of dozen jpg's. Explorer showed only four jpg's on the drive and I can successfully open those. (I have been able to open all of the jpg's on my laptop from work with no problem.) So, how do I fix this so that Explorer will show all of the jpg's? Also, in the past when I've tried to load pics onto a CD to burn, only a handful of them will go. Do I need to change my memory or update s/w? The second problem starts when I try to open a jpg from a CD (usually by double-clicking the item). When I do this, Explorer "searches" for the item but then reports "No preview available" and the jpg will not open. Again, is this a memory shortage? Thanks for any help. Please reply to "grace1st@peoplepc.com." -- God bless, Scott |
