Currently to unselect a branch of a directory tree you need to deselect each
individual branch - which is very cumbersome. I suggest that if a directory tree is expanded then it should work as it does now (ie: deselecting a parent does not deselect the children), but if a directory tree is collapsed then deselecting the parent should also deselect all the child branches. An alternative is to allow multiple select (ie: hilighting) of branches (using the cntl or shift click technique) and when you select or deselect an item that is hilighted, then the action propagates to all the hilighted branches. Either one of these techniques would be a significant improvement to the user interface. Otherwise - great program. |
