I have Paint Shop Pro 7, and it's been recently moved, so for some reason,
the shortcut is now the PSP association, and the shortcut leads to the F dirve location, and not the E drive location. I cannot figure out how to delete the shortcut from my associations, and I can't reset it to the original file... The shortcut does not exist anymore, so I get the error message : *filename*.jpeg/jpg is not a valid win32 application... Could someone tell me how to change the association from the shortcut to the file -- ![]() |

I am just going to give an outline because Help & Support has much more detail. 1. Right click on a file with the extension. Then under "open with" select the correct application and location. Then select the option to use this application for all such files 2. In Windows Explorer, open "Folder Options" and select "File associations" (if I remember correctly that is). Then go down through the list of extensions until you read "jpg" and make the necessary corrections. 3. In the Control Panel, open "Folder Options", and proceed as number 2. 4. Finally, the real control is a sequence of keys in the registry. How to do this is not discussed in Help & Support". Jim |
