Default printed text

printed text from my printer is disappearing. It appears to be slashed in
half; horozontially. Then sometimes it almost gets back to normal full size
print and it starts all over again. The black ink seems to be the one I am
having the problem with. Colors seem to print ok. I tried changing ink
cartidges, to no avail. Please Help!

Default RE: printed text

Check in printer properties for a utility called printhead alignment.
Start>Control Panel>Printers and Faxes>rightclick your printer
That's about as far as I can go with the limited info you provided.
