I have a "Zoom" Bluetooth PCMCIA card installed on my Win XP sp2 Laptop which
communicates with a "Zoom" Bluetooth 56k modem. I can browse the internet using the bluetooth modem via dial-up networking but i want to set up the laptop to send a recieve faxes. I have installed the Win XP built-in fax console and configure the fax console to use the "Bluetooth Fax Modem". and i have selected the Send and recieve option in the configuration. I can recieve faxes ok but i cannot send them. The error message i get in the fax monitor is "Sending fax failed". Can anyone help? I really need this to work. |

If the modem you are using is on the Windows XP HCL list, there may be some recourse, but only if you enable extensive PSS and debug logging procedures to pinpoint the problem for Microsoft Hal -- Hal Hostetler, CPBE -- hhh@kvoa.com Senior Engineer/MIS -- MS MVP-P/I -- WA7BGX http://www.kvoa.com -- "When News breaks, we fix it!"
