fax pending but won't send

I'm trying to send a fax. It sits in the outbox saying pending. But it
doesn't send. I can't find any command or menu item to tell it to Send Now.
It didn't try to send in the first place. It isn't set to delayed send. The
recipient line is not busy (it's in the same room -- I'm trying to debug this
problem.) Any suggestions?

> More info: Fax Console v.5.1. Win XP Pro. When I right click on the fax in the outbox, resend and restart are greyed out. Pause is active; but clicking it and clicking Unpause doesn't change the pending status. The submission time is listed and it is prior to the current time (of course).

Perhaps you could start with a clearer description of your problem. Include
what you mean by "It didn't try to send in the first place," how you tried
to send the fax, whether the application has ever worked for you, error
messages you got... You know, the stuff that those of us who weren't there
might need to know to figure this out.
