I have a printer attached directly to computer A and shared with computer B &
computer C. After a few times successfully printing, computer C fails to print and gives the message "print spooler not running". Checking the spooler service verifies that it is "started" & set to "Automatic". Computers A & B continue to print while computer C is in the failure mode. I have uninstalled the printer & then reinstalled (Samsung ML-1750). This did not help. I uninstalled the ML-1750 and installed a new Samsung ML-2250 printer. Same problems occurs. It seems to me that there must be a problem on computer C. Any suggestion for a fix or diagnostics to run? |

99% of the time when the spooler crashes, it's from corrupted printer
drivers. Use Bruce Sanderson's instructions to completely blitz all traces of the drivers from Computer C and start over. http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm -- Cari (MS-MVP) Printing & Imaging "Print Spooler Not Running - reoccurs" <Print Spooler Not Running - reoccurs@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AC83AE21-4EF2-4247-994B-F11B882EF984@microsoft.com... >I have a printer attached directly to computer A and shared with computer B >& > computer C.
