I've had a pair of printers connected directly to my xp system for
well over a year now. I also have a win98 machine that is connected to the hub of my dsl router as my xp machine is. I've been able to print from the win98se machine to the laser or inkjet connected to my xp machine by sharing the printers. All of a sudden, I can't print from the win98se machine anymore. I'm now getting a message that says: "error writing to the printer \\rogerwil\hp1200 for printer(HP Laserjet 1200 Seri(Copy2). There is not enough memory to print your document. Quit one or more programs and try again. If problem persists, try choosing the RAW spool data format in the properties for your printer and try again." The problem is that this has work for well over a year and many months after installing xps2 on the xp computer. Also, there are no other programs running on the 98machine other than the printer properties box and the document is a printer test page by clicking on the test button at the bottom of the properties box. Can anyone help? Roger |
